History
I began my career, fresh out of design school, in the best place to learn about great design- Manhattan.

Since that initial exposure, I have spent the last 25 years working all over the country on design projects large and small, simple and complex.  Until 1994, when I relocated to the Pacific Northwest, I worked primarily in Atlanta and Los Angeles.

In 2000, I opened my own retail store, Deep Interior.  Although always exciting and fun, it was always a challenge balancing my design clients and my retail customers. In January of 2007, after seven successful years, I closed the Deep Interior store in order to better serve my design clients.

I am currently located in the Seattle Design Center.  The SDC has 69 showrooms representing the best national and international manufacturers. These resources allow me to assist my clients no matter the size or scope of their project.

Texture
We have an emotional response to the way something feels.  Like a blanket from our childhood or a favorite piece of clothing, you want your room to feel comfortable.  Every item, from a chair to a vase, has a specific texture.  Working together we can ensure that the items we select for your space act cohesively.
Color
Everyone knows the power of having the right color.  But color is more than paint for your walls. It is the way finishes and fabrics play off of each other; the way the paint on the wall changes a piece of art.  Balancing color will give your space the finished look you want.
Form
Shape. Scale. Balance.  These three elements combine to create the form of a piece.  As each item in your space has it’s own form, so must the whole space work together.  The form of the whole space sets the tone.
